Knicks’ Iman Shumpert Owns New York With New ‘Versace’ Freestyle

Like countless ballers before him, Knicks guard Iman Shumpert – better known as the human eraser – once again dipped his toe into the frigid rap-game waters and enjoyed the temperature. Not that he hasn’t shattered lyrical expectations several times before! Oh, and by frigid we mean atrociously depressing.

Excluding NY kings Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar, as well as the entire Black Hippy crew, the current rap industry is flooded with frustratingly annoying beats, big-bootied vixens (thank you 2 Chainz), and first-grade-level lyrics. Have today’s city blocks even heard of a Tribe Called Quest, or rather real rap? Didn’t think so…

But just when we thought the once-glorious rap realm was finished, toast, doomed, a quiet Big Apple baller comes to the rescue with a shocking off-hardwood performance that is sure to keep Knicks fans slamming the MSG stands. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Conway Twitty…

PSYCHE!

Here is the Shump… postin’ and toastin’ with a mic in his hands…

And now it looks like his vocal prowess has earned the hair man a spot on Michelle Obama’s new hip-hop album. Seriously, we can’t make this up. Blame it on the hair; heck it worked for these two…

But not as well for these guys…
